Difficult brokers

Ill kick this conversation off here.. list off any brokers you have had difficulties with in getting loads, problems in transit, etc. Number one most annoying for me would be montway's VIP service, and the endless calls they make every single day to check up on where you are, what you're doing, what time you took a shit this morning...

Difficult brokers in getting loads from, sherpa auto transport and their need to get an insurance certificate almost every single time you get a load. As if you drop insurance almost weekly and are running illegally. All they have to do is go on FMCSA SAFER and look up your carrier to see if you have active authority and no pending cancellations

Montway is def up there in terms of complaints that we hear about from trucking companies. They tend to like to do alot of calling and harassing drivers, not to mention over-promising on their services ( that they expect the trucking company to deliver on ) ..... Oh not to mention low rates and their endless attempts to drop the market rates to trucks by posting thousands of loads under the market rates for those particular routes on Central Dispatch

They seem to have a really good algorithm for their rates, because they are almost ALWAYS under the market rate, by 1-200 dollars. Constantly driving down the market rate

It mostly just ends up ticking off trucks, trucks avoiding their loads or only taking them only as a last resort, along with long waits for their customers on loads , resulting in more typical negative reviews online for them

I can sort of see why they do it because 75% of the truckers actually running the rigs don’t know much English and they aren’t the best communicators with regards to timing. They just show up unannounced at midnight to drop off your car. But they need to be able to discern who’s actually competent in communicating

Anyone else have any recent experiences they care to share ?

Most of the top complaints about brokers just comes down to one word " HONESTY " - and that is of course the issue. For some reason in the auto transportation space, brokers just give the industry a horrible name. They are widely known for lying about the final rates, lying to get business, lying about the initial quotes, taking deposits and not refunding people, dispatching loads at higher rates then they quoted a client, the list goes on and on. They are like the used car dealers only worse.

We actually located one from a company we won't even mention because it is embarrassing for them, but this is the owner of their company :

CAN ANYONE SAY HOW CRINGE THIS IS ? IT SUMS UP THE TYPES OF PEOPLE RUNNING THESE AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANIES
